ARKANSAS TEEN
COURT ASSOCIATION

The ATCA was established in 2009 by a grant of $1,000 from the National Association of Youth Courts. The mission of ATCA is to promote and assist current, developing and proposed Teen Court programs throughout Arkansas. One way ATCA seeks to accomplish this mission is to create a manual for starting Teen Courts. In addition, ATCA desperately desires to have a website to provide a forum for training, sharing of ideas and a central location for resources to support the operation of Teen Courts.

 

In order to grow ATCA, membership in ATCA has been at no cost. At this point, ATCA has no resources to complete these goals. In order to have the summer conference it must rely on donations from member organizations. A strengthened association will create greater overall credibility which will increase our chances for funding. A strengthened association will also be better able to assist any possible legislation proposed in the General Assembly.
